Powder coating is a high strength, highly durable coating process. The powder is electro-statically attracted to the metal item that has already been chemically stripped and glass bead blasted to provide maximum key.

The powdered item is then put in a high heat oven (up to 230C), allowed to cool and then lacquered using the same process to provide extra shine and protection.
